DOROTHY RUTH SUGGS

Mrs. Dorothy Ruth Suggs, 81, 211 Red Hill Road, Eureka, passed away at Wayne Memorial Hospital on Saturday.
A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church at 1 p.m. with pastor Larry Johnson officiating.
A viewing will be held Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, Inc., 423 S. James St. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m.
Mrs. Suggs leaves a legacy of love to her three daughters, Lillie E. (Billy) Brown of Clinton, Md., Linda (Billy) McClain of Eureka, and Deborah (Daniel) Uzzell of Wilson; two sons, Thindell (Cora) Suggs of Eureka,
and Marion (Peggy) Suggs
of Wilson; five grandchildren, Monica Ferrol of Fayetteville, Shimura Suggs of Wilson, Marcus McClain of Greensboro, Kelvin (Tiffany) Suggs of Hampton, Va., and Traven (Veronica) McClain of Greensboro;
nine great-grandchildren, London, Shimeisha, Jakia, Takia, Kenneth, Kenisha, Anissa, Marva, and Treya; and two god-daughters, Dana and Gail.
She is also survived by her brother, D.H. (Shirley) Hobbs of Eureka; several nieces and nephews, a dear devoted friend, Maude Dawson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A sister and five brothers preceded her in death.
