JUDY E. AMIDON

Judy Ellis Amidon, 66, passed away Wednesday evening at Life Care Hospitals in Rocky Mount.

Memorial services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bill Rose and the Rev. Frank Flowers officiating.

Judy was born in Logan, W. Va., Sept. 27, 1943, to the late Don W. Ellis and Mercie Blankenship Ellis.

She owned and operated for nine years the Little Tykes Daycare.

Judy will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and special friend to so many.

Judy is survived by her husband, Frank Amidon; her daughter, Mardi Lupton and husband, Kenneth, of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Connor Lupton and Mackenzie Lupton; her sisters, Lois Conn, Evelyn Ramey, Sandra Colley and Donna Bragg all of Logan, W. Va.; her brother, Billy Ellis of Silver Spring, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Ellis.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, P.O. Box 27985, Raleigh, N.C., 27611.

The family will receive friends following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home, 206 Westwood Drive in Goldsboro.
