MOUNT OLIVE -- Pauline Galloway Rogers, 85, died Thursday.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Tyndall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Steven Wicks officiating. Fellowship with the family will follow the service. Burial will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh.

Born in Apex, her parents were the late Paul Martin Galloway and Patty Denton Galloway, and she was their only child.

She was of the Baptist faith and had been a lifelong Raleigh resident, having been employed at Dorothea Dix Hospital from which she retired as a nursing assistant. Upon retirement, she relocated to Mount Olive, where lived her remaining years, most of them on East Station Street, and recently at Mount Olive Care and Rehab. Center.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by a son, Paul Rogers and wife, Sandra, of San Diego, Calif.; a daughter, Bert Pardue and husband, Wayne, of Fayeteville; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
