JEAN MARGARET LEWIS

Jean Margaret Lewis, 75, formerly of Goldsboro passed away on Feb. 2 at Magnolia Assisted Living in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was born in London, England to the late Daniel and Florence Hopkinson, and was wife of the late Tommy C. Lewis. Mrs. Lewis was retired from Belk of Goldsboro where she enjoyed selling fine china to the residents of Goldsboro. She was a member of Daniels Memorial Church and the Women of the Moose.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 3 p.m.at Shumate-Faulk funeral home with the Dr. John Dutton officiating. Burial of the ashes for both Mr. & Mrs. Lewis will be held privately at Pineview Cemetery in Rocky Mount. The Family will be receiving friends immediately following the memorial service on Friday at Shumate Faulk Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by her two sons, Tommy C. Lewis Jr and wife Terry of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Daniel Lewis and wife Adelade of Pikeville; five grandchildren, Jennifer Minshew and husband Dwayne of Goldsboro, Stephanie Rarick and husband Donnie of Goldsboro, Damian Vance and finacee' Samantha Key of Goldsboro, Brian Vance and Jesse Watson both of Myrtle Beach; three great grandchildren, Kimberly and Kyia Minshew and Cody Rarick, two sisters, Rita Myers and husband Richard (Dick) of Maryland, Maureen (Mona) Gilbert of Virginia, two brothers Daniel Hopkinson of Maryland, Terry Hopkinson and wife Rochelle of Maryland.

In addition to her husband Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Lewis.

The Family will be recieving friends immediately following the memorial service on Friday at Shumate Faulk Funeral Home. Burial of the ashes for both Mr. & Mrs. Lewis will be held privately at Pineview Cemetary in Rocky Mount.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that memorial donations be made to Daniels Memorial Church, 2802 E. Ash St., Goldsboro, NC 27534 or Mercy Hospice, PO Box 50640, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.
