SMITHFIELD -- Mary Alice Tyner, 77, Britthaven Smithfield, died Wednesday evening at Johnston Medical Center.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Casey Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Hayes and the Rev. Craig Langdon officiating.
She was born in Wayne County March 25, 1932, the daughter of the late Monroe Ballard Tyner and Hettie Mooring Tyner Hines.
She is survived by brothers, James Tyner of Pikeville and Leon Tyner of Princeton and sisters, Rachael Tyner Woodard of Princeton, Betty Tyner Neal of Jacksonville, Doris Tyner Jones of Durham and Frances Tyner Langdon of Smithfield.
The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. Saturday.
