KEVIN MCDANIEL

Kevin McDaniel passed away Friday at his residence in Goldsboro from complications of an extended illness.

Memorial services will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.

He served in the United States Navy and was a former employee of Wayne Memorial Hospital. Kevin was a kindhearted, fun-loving soul who touched the heart of everyone he met. He never met a person he didn't like, and was liked by everyone who met him.

Kevin is survived by his mother and stepfather, Virginia "Ginny" and William Johnson of Goldsboro; a daughter, Tawnya Krick and husband, of Maryland; a son, Dustin Rigdon in the United States Army; a brother, Gregory and wife, Dinah of California; two grandchildren; six nieces and nephews in California and New Zealand; two aunts; and a sister-in-law, Judy.

Kevin was preceded in death by a twin brother, Patrick, in 1976 and an elder brother, Mitchell, in 1992.
