MICHAEL L. EARP

Michael L. Earp, 42, passed away Thursday after a courageous battle with cancer with his parents by his side.
There will be a memorial service, followed by visitation today at 3 p.m. at Pinkney Baptist Church, N.C. 581, north of Nahunta.
Mike was the son of Ted Earp of Goldsboro and Janie Earp of Fremont.
He is survived by a sister, Michelle Earp of Goldsboro; a niece, Ashlynn Earp of Goldsboro; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; and a special family friend and caretaker, Owen "Trapper" Pope.
Mike was a avid reader with his nose always in a book, an animal lover and a University of North Carolina and Miami Dolphins fan.
Before his illness, he was employed with Allco Electric.
At other times, the family will be at 209 Barlett Ave.
