ED HAMILTON

LaGRANGE -- Edward Earl "Ed" Hamilton, 63, of LaGrange, passed away Saturday.
A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Whitfield officiating.
Ed was born in Wayne County to the late Earl and Dorothy Best Hamilton. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Mann. Ed was the owner/operator of Hamilton Refrigeration. He enjoyed traveling to the coast, fishing, building, motorcycles, animals and adored his grandchildren.
Ed is survived by his wife of 39 years, Doris Lee Hamilton; two sons, Eddie Hamilton and wife, Tina, of LaGrange, Chris Hamilton and wife, Jessica, of LaGrange; 12 grandchildren, Rachel, Tamara, Kyle, Wyat, Nate, Kayla, Dorisa, Keith, Tyler, Caden, Zebulon and Kimberly; four great-grandchildren; and two special family friends, William Heath of LaGrange and Rick Mann of Grantham.
The family will receive friends following the service of remembrance, and at other times they will be at the home.
