"Peggy" Lela Margaret West Beaman, 77, died Friday.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 until 8, and at other times at the family home.
She is survived by her husband, of 56 years, Marvin Beaman; sister, Lucy West Allen; children, Joseph Beaman, Lucie Ann Royal, Larry Beaman, Joni Margaret Lee, Gail Goodwin, and Sarah Jackson; 28 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She was a writer, musician and owner of No-Note Miracle Music.
