SNOW HILL -- Margaret Anderson Wells, 80, passed away Saturday evening at Kinston Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Snow Hill Cemetery.
A native of Pitt County, she was born Aug. 23, 1929, the daughter of Zeb Clay Anderson and Emma Rivers O'Neal Anderson.
An avid homemaker, she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Wells is survived by her daughter, Susan Wells West and husband, Mike, of Snow Hill; a son, G.T. Wells and wife, Vicki, of Fountain; brothers, David Anderson of Goldsboro and Clifton Ray Anderson of Greenville; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her husband, George Norwood "Knotty" Wells in 1991.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 at Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service and other times at the residence, 4398 U.S. 13 south in Snow Hill.
Arrangements are by Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service.
