Essie Mae (Graham) Chrisp was born Oct. 11, 1944, and departed this life Thursday.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro, with burial following at Wayne Memorial Park North.
She leaves to mourn her her mother, Annie A. Graham of Goldsboro; one daughter, Sabrina R. Turner of Maryland; one sister, Agnes M. Mann of Charleston, S.C.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Graham.
A viewing will be held today from 4 until 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
