MOUNT OLIVE -- Verdie Mae Daly Stroud, 93, died Wednesday.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Oates Family Cemetery, with the Rev. Lynn Blackburn officiating.
She is survived by daughters and a son-in-law, Jean Oates of Faison and Sue and Nick Nickle of Mount Olive; son and daughter-in-law, Harold Ray and Cindy Vinson of Mount Olive; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at West and Dunn Funeral Homes Inc.
