A celebration of life for Elbert Earl Branch, 55, 1600 S. Slocumb St., who died Wednesday at Sunbridge Nursing Center, will be held Sunday at St. Stephens United Holy Church in Scott's Store community at 2:30 p.m., with pastor Josephine Newkirk officiating. He will be laid to rest in Branch Family Cemetery in Scott's Store community.
He was born April 9, 1954, to the late Theodore Branch and Annie L. McGowan.
He is survived by one daughter.
There will be a wake Saturday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home chapel.
The family will assemble at 1028 S. Breazeale Ave. in Mount Olive.
Arrangements are being handled by Rhodes Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
