Charles Whitfield, 53, 2217 S. Slocumb St., lot 3, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
His wife, JoAnn Harris Whitfield, and three children survive.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
