KENLY -- A celebration of life for Wilbert Purvis Hinnant, 82, 1466 Scott Road, who died Friday at Johnston Memorial Hospital, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Rocky Branch Christian Church in Kenly. He will be laid to rest in Rocky Branch Christian Church Cemetery.
There will be a wake Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Rocky Branch Christian Church in Kenly.
He was born June 6, 1926, in Johnston County to the late James Hinnant and Lizzie Bagley.
Arrangements are being handled by Rhodes Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
