EUNICE H. HUFFMAN

Eunice Howell Huffman, 83, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Spring Hill Free Will Baptist Church, followed by her funeral service at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Lewis Forsythe officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Eunice was born in Wayne County March 27, 1926, to the late Addie Howell and Lizzie Harrell Howell.
She was married to the late Edward Collins Huffman.
Eunice was a faithful member of Spring Hill Free Will Baptist Church and had retired from Cherry Hospital with more than 20 years of service.
Eunice is survived by her daughter, Vickie Huffman of Goldsboro; her daughter-in-law, Peggy Huffman of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Stefanie Adams and husband, Chad, of Goldsboro and Janet Huffman of Goldsboro; her great-grandchildren, Jordan, Austin, Britney, Brianna and Carson; her sister, Flonnie Turner of Goldsboro; and her sisters-in-law, Edith Howell, Lois Howell and Hilda Howell all of Goldsboro.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Edward Glenn Huffman, and her brothers, Murray Stephens "Curly" Howell, Raymond Howell, Donald Howell and Ronald Howell.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Spring Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 2127 US Hwy. 70 west, Goldsboro, NC, 27530.
