James Miller, 72, of 1305 N. Carolina St., died Tuesday at his residence.
His life and service to God and mankind will be celebrated today at 2 p.m. at the Original Tabernacle of Prayer for All People with Apostle Lawrence Bogier officiating. His mortal remains will be laid to rest in the Boney Cemetery, Pink Hill.
Precious memories will be cherished by his mother, Dossie Mae Taylor of Kenansville; wife, Christine R. Miller; his children, Clint Marable of the home, Ron and wife, Evony Miller, of Dudley, Winnifer and husband, Otis Scott, of Durham, Tiffany Miller of Goldsboro; three brothers; five sisters; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation was held Saturday from 2 until 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at 1707 Shamrock Ave. where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
