NEWTON GROVE -- Louise Barefoot Keene, 82, died Tuesday.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Pleasant Union Christian Church, with the Rev. Bill Wilson, the Rev. Penny Ziemer and Rebecca Odell officiating. Interment will be in Unity Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Carroll and Sandra Keene of Roseboro, Paul Layton and Diane Keene of Garner and Frankie and Rita Keene of Newton Grove; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy T. Keene.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
