LOIS P. LANGSTON
November 19, 1925 - May 11, 2009
Lois Parks Langston, 83, passed away at home Monday with her family by her side.
She was born in Wayne County to the late Joseph S. and Lila O. Smith Parks and was married to the late Elisha I. Langston. A homemaker, she was a member of Walnut Creek Free Will Baptist Church. Lois was a good mother, sister and friend to all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with pastor Tony McLamb officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Langston is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Steven M. and Catherine Langston of Goldsboro; one brother, Robert S. Parks of Goldsboro; one sister, Frances Rose of Goldsboro; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald C. Langston; a brother, Earl E. Parks; and a sister, Corinne Price.
The family will be receiving friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of Steven and Catherine Langston, 711 Goldleaf Drive, Goldsboro N.C. 27534.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Walnut Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
