MAE BELLE P. ROYALL

MOUNT OLIVE -- Mae Belle Potter Royall, 88, longtime Mount Olive resident, and in recent years a resident of Glen-Care Retirement Center, died early Tuesday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Donald Massey and the Rev. Steve Singleton, will be held at 7 p.m. today at Tyndall Funeral Home, with visitation following. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Maplewood Cemetery.

Mrs. Royall was a member of Mount Olive Church of God of Prophecy.

She is survived by two sisters, Sudie B. Lee and Nonal Lee Pettit, both of Mount Olive; a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Sadie Potter of Mount Olive; two other sisters-in-law, Shirley Potter Freeman of Kinston and Emma Potter of Dudley; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Royall was preceded in death by her husbands, Owen Carter and Henry Royall; her parents, Brownie and Dora Moody Potter; and two brothers, Vernon Potter and Lionel Potter.

Friends and family are being received at the Bobby Potter residence, 3443 Emmaus Church Road, Mount Olive.
