WARSAW -- Mildred Tann Hodges, 85, 1886 Bowden Road, died Thursday at Duplin General Hospital.
A celebration of her life will be held today at 1 p.m. at Hill's Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Kenneth Morrisey officiating. Burial will follow in Cobbs Cemetery in Faison.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Lucy Tann Brewington.
She is survived by her daughter, Sonja (Jessie) Boykin of Warsaw; two sons, Jason (Eular) Hodges of Fayetteville and Freddie Hodges of Faison; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A sharing of Mrs. Hodges' love and legacy was held Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home and the family was present from 3 to 4 p.m. to receive friends.
