Helen Dobberson, 78, 310 E. James St., Apt. B, Mount Olive, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in the silent halls of death by her parents, David Lee Pearsall Sr. and Ophelia Williams Pearsall; her husband, Willie Dobberson Sr., and children, William Douglas Dobberson and Thelma Louise Bowden.
Her life and legacy will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church at Sumerlin Crossroad in Mount Olive. She will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Park.
Among her survivors are her son, Willie Dobberson of Dudley, and a host of siblings, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2 until 6 p.m. Friday at the McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Mount Olive.
The family will receive friends at the home of her sister, Edna Pearsall Moore, 601 E. Hillsboro St., Mount Olive, where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
