PIKEVILLE -- William Artis, 66, 1401 Airport Road, died Friday at this residence.
He will be eulogized Wednesday at noon at White Oak Original Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Irvin Artis officiating. His remains will be carried to his final resting in Old Mill Cemetery atop his beloved roll back wrecker.
Loving memories are cherished by his wife, Manor Artis of the home; his children, William (Dorothy) Artis, Nelson (Tora) Artis of Goldsboro, Michael (Dejuana) Artis of Richmond, Va., Tammy (Ron) Girado, Shelia Austin of Goldsboro and Barbara Ann Mewborn of Mount Olive; 12 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at other times at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
