Dennis Allen Anderson, Jr., 26, passed away suddenly on Thursday.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Bartlett officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at Seymour Funeral Home. Interment will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.
Allen was born in Wayne County Sept. 20, 1982, to René Grantham Anderson of Goldsboro and Dennis Allen Anderson of Dudley.
He was a graduate of Southern Wayne High School. Allen was employed as a truck driver and maintenance supervisor with the family business, D.T. Grantham Trucking Co.
In addition to his parents, Allen is survived by his son, Dawson Eli Anderson; his maternal grandfather, D.T. Grantham of Goldsboro; his paternal grandfather, Raymond Anderson of Dudley; his uncles and aunts, Kent and Genny Grantham, Michael and Joy Grantham and Katrina Anderson; and his cousins, Kendall Grantham, Dylan Grantham, Jeremy Joyner, Justin Whaley and Jonathan Whaley.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Geraldine S. Grantham and Christine Anderson.
