Russell Best, 69, 404 E. Holly St., died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Old Mill Cemetery.
He is survived by seven children.
A visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at 309 N. Jefferson St. where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
