CHARLES N. "TINKER" BELL

MOUNT OLIVE -- Charles Norwood "Tinker" Bell Sr., 69, of 506 Northeast Center St., died early Friday morning at home.
Funeral services were held at Tyndall Funeral Home on Saturday night at 7 p.m. with Dr. Dennis Atwood officiating, after which visitation was held.
Committal and burial will be held today at 2 p.m. in Maplewood Cemetery.
Mr. Bell, son of the late Raymond Norwood Bell and Helen Sutton Bell, was their only child. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was owner and operator of Bell Auto Sales in Mount Olive. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Mount Olive.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Tillman Bell of the home; two daughters, Regina Bell Godwin and husband, Donald, of Mount Olive, and Tina Bell Phillips and husband, Mike, of Mount Olive; a son, Charles N. "Chuck" Bell Jr. of the home; six grandchildren, Ashley and Danny Brock, Matthew Wiggins and fiancee, Sarah Barwick, Melinda Joy Godwin, Chelsey Michelle Phillips, Matthew Phillips and fiancee, Megan Giddens, and Joseph Phillips.
Along with his parents, a daughter, Joy Bell Wiggins, preceded him in death.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 239, Mount Olive, N.C. 28365.
