WILLIAM TURNAGE

William Virgil Turnage, 72, passed away Friday. He was a native of Greene County, born the son of the late William Medie Turnage and Rebecca Smith Turnage. He was a retired farmer and lived in the Shine Community all his life.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. today at Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service in Snow Hill, with the Rev. Larry Turlington officiating. Committal services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Snow Hill Cemetery.
He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Turnage Trisch of Snow Hill; a brother, Alvin Turnage of LaGrange; nephew, Elton Turnage of LaGrange; and nieces, Linda Faye Wadsworth of Goldsboro and Cathy Turnage of LaGrange.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service today and at other times at the home of Dorothy T. Trisch, 821 Free Gospel Road, Snow Hill.
