Died Nov. 19, 2006

DUDLEY - Nancy Kilpatrick Lane, 69, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw with visitation to follow. A private burial will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Indian Springs Original FWB Church cemetery.

"Miss Nancy," as she was affectionately called by everyone she met, retired from Barry of Goldsboro after 32 years of service and was currently employed by Carolina East Home Care and Hospice as office manager of their Seven Springs location. She was a devoted member, deacon and choir director of Indian Springs Original FWB Church.

Born to Kate Raynor Kilpatrick of Magnolia and the late William Carl Kilpatrick, she is also, survived by her husband, Hilbert "Bud" Lane of the home; two sons, Anthony H. "Bert" Lane and wife, Pamela, of Dudley and Michael B. Lane and wife, Daly, of Warsaw; three grandchildren, Katie and Anna Lane of Warsaw and Stephen Godwin of Smithfield; one brother, J. W. Kilpatrick, of Kenansville; one sister, Annie Quinn Brown of Magnolia; and many nieces and nephews.
