Edwin Lee Scott Sr., 92, 800 E. Pine Street, died Thursday at Civista Hospital in LaPlata, Md.
Funeral services will be Wednes-day at 1 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., with the Rev. Dr. I.B. Horton officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born to the late Adam W. and Bessie Bright Scott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Smith Scott; three brothers and three sisters.
His survivors include his son, Edwin L. Scott Jr. of Oxon Hill, Md.; two sisters, Miriam S. Brock of Goldsboro, and Ava M. Scott of Tampa, Fla.; two brothers, William and Gerald Scott of Winston-Salem.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
