RUTH B. NEWCOMB
Died Nov. 14, 2006
Ruth Britt Newcomb, 86, of Brian Center, formerly of Princeton, died Tuesday. She was the daughter of the late William Preston and Betty Jane Cobb Britt and the widow of Joseph Newcomb.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. today at Casey Funeral Home with Cathy Auman and the Reverend Andy Stovell officiating. Committal service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Princeton Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters; Louise Jinnette and Mary Toler of Goldsboro; a son; Wayne Newcomb of Seven Springs; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Flowers are welcome or donations can be made in memory to Whitley Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The family will receive friends at 6 p.m. today and immediately following the funeral service.
