BEULAH HOWELL

Beulah Mae Thompson Howell, 82, of 504 E. Holly St., died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. A native of Wayne County, she was born to the late James David and Margie Carter Thompson and was the widow of Earl Howell. Mrs. Howell was a Licensee Practical Nurse and a homemaker.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Williams officiating. Interment will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Park.

Surviving are son, Earl Howell and wife, Rosalind of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Lois Pelt, of Goldsboro, Lucille "Tuggy" Sparks, of California, Barbara Jean Reis, of Washington, and Carrie Etta Dillow of Rutherfordton, N.C.; brothers, Vander Thompson of Goldsboro and Billy Charles Carter of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Sarah Ellen Howell and Elliot Aycock Howell of Atlanta, Ga.

Mrs. Howell was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Lou Wallace and a brother James Thompson.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Dr., Goldsboro, N. C. 27534.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
