Gloria Miller Wilder, 72, of 1208 S. Best St. died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was born in Charlotte to the late Vernon H. and Fannie Sherrill Miller and was the wife of David Wilder.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Suzanne Franklin officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In addition to her husband she is survived by sons: Robert Tatum Jr. of Greensboro and Jeffrey Tatum of Raleigh; daughters, Debbie Sauls of Elizabeth City and Lisa Tatum of Charlottesville, VA; step-son, Scott Wilder of Raleigh; step-daughters, Cynthia Drew of Raleigh and Allison Keith of Wake Forest; grandchildren, Tim and John Sauls, both of Raleigh, Matthew and Anna Sauls, both of Elizabeth City, Trey and Joshua Tatum, both of Greensboro; and step-grandchildren, Christopher and Elizabeth Drew, both of Raleigh, Aliza Wilder of Greenville, Luther and Caleb Keith, both of Wake Forest.
