SNOW HILL -- Robert Gary Lane, 49, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home Chapel in Fremont with the Rev. Ralph Ginn officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Church Cemetery in Fremont.
Mr. Lane was born in Wilson County on Dec. 1956. He was a member of Trinity Church. He was past employed with Goldsboro Milling Co. and a former Nahunta Volunteer Fireman.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Brandon Lane of Snow Hill and Robert Jeremy Lane of Goldsboro; two brothers, Billy Ray Lane of Snow Hill and Steve Allen Lane of Snow Hill; three sisters, Elizabeth Diane McCullen of Grantham, Betty Jean Exum of Virginia and Cathy Reese of Carolina Beach; and one grandchild.
Mr. Lane was preceded in death by his father and mother, Robert Avery Lane and Mary Reason Cone.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 North Pine Street in Fremont.
