Raymond Swinson Jr. of Goldsboro died on Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The son of the late Raymond Swinson, Sr. and Mrs. Lorean W. Swinson, he was one of three siblings.
Homegoing Services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the St. James A.M.E. Zion Church with the Rev. Patsy Faison officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Swinson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Wilma Baggett Swinson of the home; his mother, Mrs. Lorean W. Swinson of Goldsboro; his sisters, Mitzi and husband, Harvey Lloyd of Manassa, Va., and Tonya and her husband, Larry Sampson of Goldsboro; a special aunt, Beatrice W. Booth of Goldsboro; his Godmother Bertha Wooten of Goldsboro; his in-laws, Charlie Eugene and Betty Robinson of Fayetteville; several members of the 1962 Class of Dilliard High School, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 until 8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, Goldsboro
