ALBERTSON -- Mahlon "Terry" Wallace, 54, of 428 Woodland Church Road, passed away peacefully Friday. Terry was at home surrounded by loved ones who witnessed the beautiful moment when Terry's spirit departed his physical body to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Prior to Terry's declining health, he was the owner and operator of Faison Logging Company. Terry loved the outdoors and all people. He knew no strangers and always had a word of hope and encouragement to give.

The funeral, followed by visitation, will be held at 2 p.m. this afternoon, at Grace Covenant Church, Hwy. N.C. 111, Beulaville, with Pastor Wade Pope, Pastor Maynard Quinn, and Pastor John Isenberg officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Wallace Family Cemetery on Wallace-Walker Road, Albertson.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Mahlon Bernard Wallace. Survivors include his mother, Virginia Wallace of the home; two sons, Mahlon Ronald Wallace and wife, Kelly, of Albertson, Jason Dean Wallace and wife, Bonnie, of Charleston, S.C.; two brothers, Michael James Wallace and wife, Saron, and Philip Jay Wallace and wife, Amy, both of Albertson; and one sister, Debbie Wallace Dhillon of Albertson; grandchildren, Terry Dean Mahlon Elissa Wallace, Taylor A. and Nathan O'Brien; nephews, Andrew Philip Wallace and Jairus Luke Tripp; nieces Joy Mercer Tripp and husband, Curtus Lee Tripp, Michelle Wallace Rouse, and husband, Scott Brandon Rouse, Laura Elizabeth Wallace, Kayla Zandare Wallace, Megan Brooke Wallace and Hannah Victoria Wallace.
