Fannie Johnson Altman, 70, 138 Best Ave., died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Atkinson Cemetery of Four Oaks.
Mrs. Altman was born to the late Mr. Frank and Mable Ward Johnson.
She is survived by her loving husband, Samuel Altman Jr. of the home; two step-daughters, Arlinda Rayford and Janet Smith of Goldsboro; a sister, Pauline Johnson-Dillard of Goldsboro; a brother, Willie Johnson Sr. of Oxon Hill, Md.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
A wake will be held Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Best Grove Church.
The family will receive friends at the home, 138 Best Ave., Goldsboro.
