Kevin Benjamin Metz, 52, died Wednesday in Onslow County as a result of injuries from a motorcycle accident.
The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in Eden, N.Y.
Mr. Metz was born Sept. 30, 1954, to Ruth Agle Metz of Shortsville, N.Y., and the late William Hahl Metz and he was married to Brenda Thompson Metz.
He was an engineer with Stanadyne.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughters, Heidi Bates and husband, Mike, of Bedford, Texas, and Jessica Metz and Lindsay Metz of Goldsboro; his brother, Walter C. Metz and wife, Linda, of Shortsville, N.Y.; his grandchildren, Sierra and Alex Bates; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Victory Junction Gang, 4500 Adams Way, Randleman, 27317.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
