George Ellis, 89, 308 Level St., died Sunday at Britthaven of Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel with Apostle D.L. McIntyre officiating. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
He was a native of Greene County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Berry and Edna Ellis.
He is survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held today from 3 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home.
