WILSON -- Gladys Louise Evans Speight, 75, died Tuesday at the Brian Center.
A graveside service was held today at Stantonsburg Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Johnson officiating.
Mrs. Speight was born to the late Barham Evans and Lizzie Waddell Evans. She was married to the late James Speight.
She retired from Excel Linde with 20 years of service. She attended Goldsboro Worship Center.
Mrs. Speight is survived by her daughters, Gladys Carol Howell and Shirley Ann Jones of Pikeville; her sons, Jimmy Speight of Pikeville and Donnie Wayne Speight of Goldsboro; her brother, Barham Evans Jr. of Goldsboro; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family received friends Wednesday night at Seymour Funeral Home.
