WILSON -- Gladys Louise Evans Speight, 75, died Tuesday at the Brian Center.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Stantonsburg Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Johnson officiating.
Mrs. Speight was born May 31, 1931, to the late Barham Evans and Lizzie Waddell Evans. She was married to the late James Speight.
She retired from Excel Linde with 20 years of service. She attended Goldsboro Worship Center.
Mrs. Speight is survived by her daughters, Gladys Carol Howell and Shirley Ann Jones of Pikeville; her sons, Jimmy Speight of Pikeville and Donnie Wayne Speight of Goldsboro; her brother, Barham Evans Jr. of Goldsboro; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
