WARSAW -- Funeral services for Jesse Wallace, 89, of 214 Landfield Road, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Rainbow Baptist Church with the Rev. Burnice Hodges officiating. Burial will follow in the Devotional Gardens.

Mr. Wallace died Thursday at Glen Care Nursing Center of Warsaw

He was born in Duplin County to the late Leonard and Katie Wallace. He was a retired farmer.

He is survived by four sons, Jackie Wallace, of Warsaw, Eddie Lee Wallace, of Beloit, Wis., Billy Wallace, of Quincy, Fla., and Ted Wallace, of Springfield, Mass.; two daughters, Mildred Wallace, of Kenansville, and Bernice Wallace, of Mount Vernon, N.Y.; one brother, Leron Wallace, of Warsaw; two sisters, Mary Pauline Aultman and Evone Frederick, of Warsaw; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held today from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends at the home of Jackie Wallace, 763 N. Gum St., Warsaw.
