MILDRED POWELL

Mildred Moore Powell, 84, of 801 Garner Rd., Selma, died Friday at Wake Medical Center. She was born the daughter of the late Lonnie Calvin and Addie Pollard Moore. She was the widow of Robert Bruce Powell. The Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Oakland Heights Cemetery in Smithfield.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Powell of Princeton, Robert L. Powell of Marion, S.C., Jerry Powell of Selma; one daughter, Barbara Davis of Vero Beach, Fla.; three brothers, Harold Moore, of Asheville, Horace Moore, of Smithfield, and Frank Moore, of Four Oaks; and one sister, Tillie Edwards, of Smithfield; twelve grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
