ALINE HATCHER

Aline Ivey Hatcher, 75, of Goldsboro, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel in Laurinburg with the burial following at Hillside Memorial Park.

Mrs. Hatcher was born in Red Springs and lived there since 1968. She was a devoted and loving mother and "NaNa".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, Burdine Hatcher, her brother, Paul W. Ivey; sisters, Grace I. Groppi, Catherine I. Davis and Clara Ivey.

Surviving are her two children, Sue Pendergraft Wicker, and husband Charles W. Wicker of High Point, Michael D. Pendergraft and wife, Sandy, of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Amy Brown Parcel and husband Dr. Ted Parcel of Harrisburg, Penn., Allison Pendergraft of Wilmington, Michael D. Pendergraft, Jr. of Goldsboro; a sister, Pearl Graham of Laurel Hil; brother, D.C. Ivey and wife Betty of Fayetteville, and many special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. this evening, at the home of Mike and Sandy Pendergraft in Goldsboro. The family will also receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. on Friday at Richard Boles Funeral Service in Laurinburg, NC.
