Stacey Edward Vann Jr., age 35, passed away on Monday at Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham, Maryland.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Goldsboro.
Mr. Vann was born in Washington, D.C. to Lena Mae Vann and the late Stacey Edward Vann Sr. He was employed with Pepsi Cola Company in Maryland.
He is survived by his mother, Lena Mae Vann of Maryland; his wife, Ernestina C. Vann of Maryland; one sister, Belinda Nelson and her husband, James, of Maryland; his maternal grandmother, Louvenia Rhodes of Dudley; a special aunt, Minister Gloria Howell and her husband, Thomas, of Dudley; and one special cousin, Minister Christy Lassiter of Dudley.
In addition to his father, Stacey Edward Vann Sr., Mr. Vann was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Louise Vann and one sister, Shelia Marie Vann.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 until 10:30 a.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home of his aunt, Minister Gloria Howell, 202 Sydney Drive in Dudley.
