MARY ROBINSON
Died Sept. 29, 2006
Mary Ann Robinson, 73, of 100 N. Spence Ave. Apt. H-6, died at Kitty Askins Hospice Center Friday morning. She was the daughter of the late Victor Paunee and Mary Lacy Byrd and widow of the late Otis James Robinson Jr.
Mrs. Robinson was a medical transcriptionist with the hospital at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
Funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel, with Garfin C. Martin officiating. Entombment will follow at the Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her daughter, Julia Ann Robinson Casto and her husband, Danny, of Sterling Heights, Mich.; great-grandchildren, Lauren A. Mitchell of Creedmoor, Brooke N. Andrews, Bruce A. Mitchell and Ben D. Mitchell, all of Durham; and a great-great-grandson, Trey "Cricket" E. Andrews of Durham.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronald E. Robinson, and a granddaughter, Cindy E. Mtchell.
The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
