THOMAS J. BARNES

Died Sept. 14, 2006

Thomas "Tom" John Barnes, 74, 902 Canal St., died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

He was born to the late Herbert and Lola Barnes.

He was married to the late Marie Tyner Barnes, who preceded him in death.

He served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Because of his love for the art of Masonry,he laid bricks for many homes in the Goldsboro and surrounding areas.
