Homegoing services for Ms. Hazel Mickens of 809 S. Best St. will be held Thursday at noon at the Hooks Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Pikeville. The Rev. Johnnie Sherrod will be officiating. Interment will be at Wayne Memorial Park North.
Ms. Mickens is survived by five daughters, Barbara Mickens, Brenda Powers, Hazel Loftin, and Sylvia Mickens all of Goldsboro, and four sons, Johnnie B. Mickens, Jr. of Goldsboro, Lloyd Henry Mickens of Greensboro, Stephen B. Mickens of California, and Bobby G. Mickens of Raleigh.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel, Goldsboro.
