Tony Devorise Reid, 43, 408 Orange St., died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The service will be 11 a.m., at Saturday Deeper Life Church Ministries, with the Apostle Norbert Simmons, officiating. The burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Reid is survived by wife, Jacqueline Gamble Reid, of the home; daughters, Chevelle Clark, of Goldsboro, and Amaris Reid, of Hawaii; sons, Tony Reid, Jr., of Hawaii, Jauwai Reid, Lonzia Tyson, Tyrique Tyson, all of Goldsboro; mother, Celestine Reid, of Goldsboro; father William Norwood Yelverton, Washington, DC; sister, Rochelle Applewhite, of Washington, DC; three aunts, and four uncles.
The viewing will be Friday from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday with the family present to receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries. The family will assemble at the home of his mother 1925 N. Berkley Blvd. one hour prior to the funeral in preparation for the procession.
