FRANCES BLACKMON

Frances S. Blackmon, 63, 350 Christmas Light Road, died Thursday at home. A graveside service will be held today at 3 p.m. in the Kenly Cemetery with the Rev. Donnie Chreech officiating.
Ms. Blackmon is survived by her husband, Bobby Black-mon; son, Robert Blackmon, of Chesterfield, Va.; mother, Clara Rhodes, of Goldsboro; brother, Joe Strickland of Idaho; six grandchildren, Robert Blackmon Jr., Charles Bobby Blackmon, Michael Blackmon, Christopher Black-mon, Renee Lucas and Jacob Bridgeman; three great-grandchildren, Christopher Wayne Blackmon, Karell Lucas and Malachi Lucas.
Preceded in death by sons, Christopher Blackmon and Billy W. Blackmon.
The family will receive friends following the evening service.
