FAISON -- Funeral services for Annie Eliza Armwood, 68 of Chicago, formerly of Duplin County, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Hills Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Henry Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Armwood Cemetery.
Ms. Armwood died Wednesday at University of Illinois Hospital.
She is the daughter of the late Almond and Hepsi Simmons Armwood.
She is survived by one daughter, Darcene Webb of Chicago; three sons, Charles Dixon Jr. of Minnesota, Michael Haney and John Dixon of Chicago; four brothers, Cleo Armwood of Washington, D.C., Edgar Armwood, Charles Armwood and Thomas Armwood of Faison; three sisters, Luevance Teachey of Goldsboro, Annie Oates and Evelyn Armwood of Faison, and several nieces and nephews.
